Terms and Conditions – Customer App / Website

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Expedex CC Pick & Drop platform (the “Service”), including our mobile apps and website (collectively, the “Platform”).

By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Definitions

  • Customer / User: A person who requests pickup and delivery of items through the Platform.
  • Courier: A registered driver or delivery agent who accepts and completes delivery requests.
  • Order: A delivery request placed by a customer through the Platform.
  • Company / We / Us: Expedex CC, the operator of the Platform.

2. Service Description

Our Platform connects Customers who need items delivered with independent Couriers.

We provide the technology and payment processing only — we do not own vehicles or directly employ the Couriers.


3. Account Registration

  • You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

4. Placing Orders

  • Orders must include clear pickup and delivery details.
  • Once accepted by a Courier, the Order cannot be cancelled except as allowed under our Cancellation Policy.
  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring that items are lawful, properly packaged, and ready for pickup.

 

5. Payment

  • Payment may be made through the Platform using approved payment methods.
  • Prices include delivery charges as displayed at the time of placing the Order.
  • All payments are processed securely via our payment partners.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will follow the Company’s Refund Policy.

6. Prohibited Items

Customers may not send items that are illegal, dangerous, flammable, or restricted under Botswana law, including:

  • Firearms, explosives, drugs, perishable goods, live animals, or cash.

7. Liability

  • The Company acts as an intermediary and is not liable for loss, theft, or damage once the item is collected by the Courier.
  • Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • The maximum liability for any proven claim shall not exceed the delivery fee paid.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the Platform or submit false delivery information;
  • Harass, abuse, or behave inappropriately toward Couriers;
  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes.

 

9. Ratings and Feedback

You may rate Couriers and provide feedback, which may be shared with them.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts for repeated abusive or false reviews.


10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

  • Violating these Terms;
  • Fraudulent or abusive activity;
  • Non-payment or misuse of the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost income or opportunities.


12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Botswana.

Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or the competent courts of Botswana.
